Help
Projects
Group tasks with start dates, due dates, assignees, and timelines.
Creating a project
Open /app/projects and click "New project". Each project has a name, optional description, a lead (one workspace member), and an open list of members. The lead defaults to you and can be reassigned at any time.
Project members see the project in their /app/projects sidebar; non-members do not — projects are private to their member list within the org. Owners and Admins always see every project.
Tasks
Inside a project, tasks have a title, optional description, optional start date, optional due date, and an optional assignee (any member). The task list shows progress at a glance — completed tasks are struck through and roll up into the project header summary.
Each task can also carry an inline checklist (sub-tasks). Checklists are useful for a single piece of work that has multiple discrete steps without needing the full structure of a separate task.
Timeline view
Tasks that have both a start date and a due date render as bars on the timeline. Tasks with only a due date render as milestone markers on that day. Tasks with neither just live in the list view — useful for "we will do this eventually" items that haven’t been scheduled yet.
The timeline runs across all tasks in the project so you can see overlaps and gaps in one view. Drag a bar to shift a task’s window (this is queued — see /roadmap; for now edit the dates on the task detail).
My tasks
Use /app/projects/my-tasks to see everything assigned to you across every project, sorted by due date with overdue tasks at the top. The dashboard "Upcoming tasks" card pulls from the same query — they stay in sync.
You can also reach My tasks from the global command palette (⌘K, type "my tasks").
Activity timeline
Each project has an activity feed showing what changed and when — task created, completed, reassigned, due-date moved. Useful for "what happened on this project last week" without reconstructing it from email.
Activity is per-project, not org-wide — for the cross-org administrative log, see /app/settings/audit.
